last night i played bridge with people from bulgaria, france, and montreal.
after bridge i did the tango with people from belgium, russia, and india.
in other news:
* katie had a baby girl!
* shabu zen has wonderful watermelon and coconut smoothies.
* the salad guys are still warming my bread. |

i had a great non-holiday holiday.
tried shabu shabu for the first time. loved it.
saw the golden compass. loved it.
stayed up late learning about web development and tasting honey.
played bridge with lovely people.
saw family and kids.
i did have a next day holiday hangover from something i ate, i.e. - 12 hours of an aggressive headache and extreme nausea. i ate so many new foods, i'm not sure what caused it. but it's mostly gone now. :) |

i'm looking for a bridge partner to play bridge with on a couple of mondays a month.
i've been playing in needham; they have a club with a novice group.
there's also a club at at mit on mondays, but i've never checked it out.
i'm still a beginner. i'm happy to play with another beginner.
